Ann - My child too just relapsed. I thought it was easier, I though I was strong but I am sitting here a wreck. I just found this site (Thank God - an understanding outlet) otherwise ashamed and I'd never tell friends, etc.... Anyhow, I feel like there is nothing I can do and struggle with does this mean I am sitting on the sidelines..... watching him possibly kill himself??? I know not to enable...I know, but that doesn't take away the pain.

Welcome to SR, though I am sorry for what has brought you here. You may want to start your own thread (just click on "new thread" at the top left) so more people will see it and get to know you.
I am a recovering addict, and also have loved ones who are addicts, so I know addiction from both sides of the fence.
There is a tremendous amount of support here, and some wonderful people who know what you are going through.
