a simple thank you
I just wanted to say thank you to all the "users" of this site. The hundreds of people that come here everyday... addicted not to drugs but to helping others get through their troubles and heartache. You all make life just a little easier in an otherwise hectic day.
When I first came here over 7 years ago, there were a couple of thousand members, I believe, and it was small but mightly.
Today we are over 55,000 active members, and thousands more lurk here as guests reading the posts but sitting in the shadows until they decide to join.
You never know when something you say might touch the heart of someone you will never meet. Or, you might become best of friends with some people here, I know I have, and that changes your life forever in a positive wonderful way.
There is a magic here at SR, where miracles happen every day.
So I join you in waving to the lurkers and thanking every person who shares their light here and makes my world a better place. I love you all.

This is truly a wonderful place. A life saver for some, a life preserver for others.
I have made some life long friends, and because of SR I have been able to work my program diligently during some difficult periods in my life when I couldn't get to meetings.
