Hello everyone,

Sorry long time no see. Been very busy. Hope everyone is well or at least doing ok. I was just wondering what drugs are mixed with Atropine sulfate. What exactly is Atropine sulfate and what does it do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know about what drugs are mixed with it. As a former nurse, my experience with atropine is when we gave it to speed up a heart rate. It's also used in some eye drops and a few medicines for stomach ulcers. Maybe someone else will have more information for you.

I dont think anything else is mixed with it, its a chemical on to its own.

It is a drug that acts on a specific kind of neuroreceptor in the brain. It is found in its natural state in jimsonweed and deadly nightshade. Wikipedia has a lot of info about it. There are some medical uses, but these are limited as it is a pretty potent substance and, at higher doses, poisonous as others have mentioned. Unfortunately some of those who chose to chase the high by smoking the natural herbs that have it (e.g. jimsonweed) are at serious risk for crossing that threshold and dying from overdose.

okay, I did further research (you got me curious) and found that it has been added to heroin, cocaine and X, but it was only mentioned occasionally and said it didn't have any benefit so don't know if that helps.

Thanks everyone for getting back to my post. It just so happens last night I was doing laundry and was putting my AB socks in his sock drawer and one sock felt hard and sounded crinckly. So happens I find a small vile of atropine sulfate, some glass thing with a dip in the top and bottom (wasn't a pipe though) and an empty cigarette sulffaine wrapper with nothing in it. I got sick to my stomach and didn't know whether to take it out to him and ask about it or take it myself and see if he asks for it or just say to hell with it. I went with option 2 and I put it all in a bag and stuck it in my drawer. If he doesn't want me to know about it...you think he will really ask for it back? I know all this is wrong behavior but just looking for people who understand. What would yinz have done?
