Smile Had 2nd visit with son in Recovery Program.

Saw my son yesterday at his program in Queens, NY.
It's a methadone to abstinance program and after being there about 3 1/2 months he'll be off of methadone ("off the line") a week from this Weds.

He looks and sounds even better than when I saw him 5 weeks ago with a good attitude. Unfortunately the visit still takes place sitting in a room with a chaperone. Within a week or so he'll be put into "middle tier" status where he can than apply for permission to go out for the day--that will be exciting.

I know...it can go downhill in a second, but I'm feeling good, he's safe and recovering and that's all I can ask for today. BIG BREATH!!---Thanks to all for your support and advice.

I am glad your son is in recovery. My prayers will be with him, and you. Take a much needed rest from all the worry. God Bless
