HP has things under control

As usual, my ritual is to pray each morning for all of our "A"'s to be guided to recovery and in their recovery.

After all of her chaos, my AD has been without a sponsor for approx 1 month, she has 4 1/2 months clean. Of course, even though I know that I can't control her recovery any more then I could control her addiction, I still felt anxiety over her being without a sponsor. Turned it over to HP.

AD called a little while ago, excited that she now has a new sponsor.

Just wanted to share my graditute in the God of my understanding.

i am glad she is still on the right track. i know it was scary for you but you are right, we have NO control. prayers for you both. hugs,

My daughter attends at least 2 to 3 meetings a week but due to the fact that there are only 2 women who go to her meetings (both alcoholics, one of which is prescribed pain killers which are my daughters DOC), she still does not have a sponsor. At first it worried me but now I just accept that she is where she is. I also have been working the principles of the program for more than two years now and I have never had a sponsor. The program still works for me. I am happy that your daughter found another sponsor. Hugs, Marle
