Update on ME and AD!

O'KKKKK!

I sat down here tonite to try and post a serious update. Knew what I was going to say and was determined to try and open up and post.

I typed in my title and then I WAS ATTACKED BY A BEE!

The bee and I have been battling for the last 15 minutes and HE is winning. Everytime I sat back down to post there he was. He was in my chair, then when I missed again (I mean really, how many times can you miss swatting a bee?) he was by the keyboard, the rest of the time he was trying to GET me.

I have changed my mind about what I was going to post.
(or maybe something else helped me change it)

I am grateful for my life! (Haven't said that for a long time)

I am grateful for today! (And it wasn't the best of days)

I am grateful for my family! ( hard to see during the chaos of addiction)

AND I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE BEE (which is still lurking around somewhere)

With that I'm going to bed, its midnight and 6:30 comes early)

I hope everyone had a good today and I hope tomorrow will be better!

Goodnite

It's a scientific fact we need bees

I'm grateful too.

The miserable, annoying bee is always a reminder to me about faith.

Aerodynamically, a bumble bee cannot fly. But the bee believes it can, and God believes it can....so it does.

So maybe that bee was a strangely wrapped gift...or maybe it was just an annoying bee. Either way, it's flying, yes?

Hugs

Gota,

I just went outside here at work to have my morning smoke and I think your bee has traveled here. He was chasing me around the door and kept getting right up to my face and hovering there. I swatted, he retreated and came back again.

I was thinking about you and how life is a miracle. The fact the bee can fly is a miracle. The fact I did not get stung is another miracle. And it reminded me of the small things in life. They are important and I should pay attention to them. Otherwise, they'll come right up to you and sting you in the face!

I, also, don't enjoy bees when the weather breaks and we can finally get out on the deck. They are just swarmin' around and can make you batty~~~but this year~ I will enjoy seeing the little critters. It will mean the sun and warmth are back in NY~ and for that I will be thankful. This was a fun thread so I just had to add to it..Enjoy~ Bonnie

This year I will welcome any and all little bugs and creatures. It has been a tough winter and today was 20 degrees here. I have not even seen a robin yet. So enjoy the sun and the little buzzing bees. Hugs, Marle

What I wouldn't have given for a simple bee! We've had a flying ant invasion for the past few days. They LOVE our front door and porch. So I go out every morning and sweep up HUNDREDS of carcasses. I hope the lil things got a little pleasure out of life before biting the dust.
