A brighter horizon

AS's hearing was postponed.
The officer told him that he should expect a lesser charge, a small fine and a possible remand for treatment.
If he follows through with the Sub treatment, that may be considered.

He's been here since yesterday afternoon, is pleasant and "normal", and will be helping me around the house today. We had a nice evening. A "normal" one.

I'll take that

I feel positive about his options and can let go of some of the worry of things to come. The rest is up to him.

I think I am at my worst when even I can't see a light at the end of the tunnel, even when I squint.

The weather is finally pleasant, and I feel rested. It's a good day.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, as I know they help.

Forward we go... :ghug2

Cece,

What a joy it was to read this!!

I do hope the lesser sentence still carries that big "Whack"!! none-the-less, I'm glad you had a great "normal" night and you can let some of the worries go for today.

It is a good day,

I hope and pray you have many more to come!!!

Hey, do we have choce besides forward??? LOL

Nope, so forward it is!!

Hugs,

J

Cece...I'm so happy that the sub is helping him in his struggle and that the court has given him some time to show that he can keep doing the next right thing.
Isn't it incredible how blissful we can feel when we experience "normal" whatever normal is?
Enjoy the day! It's in the 60's here, the snow is melting like crazy and when I am not outside I'm sitting by an open window! Walked into town to run my errands...it seemed a sin to take the car and now I'm going to wash all the salt and winter grime off the car. I know this is a teaser day, but just for today it is gorgeous and life is good!

Lots of hugs and continued prayers for you and your son (and the rest of the crew too, especailly your Pickle!)

Good news, Cece. I can see his HP working in his life.

Grab the good days and let the bad ones take care of themselves.

Hugs

Cece, My daughter has 9+ months clean with the help of Suboxone and meetings. The medication may give him the time that he needs to work on himself. I am glad that he is accepting the opportunity. Hugs, Marle
