I am sooo sorry to hear of your loss. It is a hard thing to do but if she was in pain, and not going to get better, then it was the right decision.

I'm sorry Freedom. You had to have been the perfect mother for your baby. Mine is 13 and on her way down the slope right now, just waiting to "know" when the right time will be. I feel like I will know, like you did, when she is in pain. I'm glad you made that choice for her, even though it is so hard on you. Hugs and prayers.

I too am so sorry and know your sadness. My Toby is pretty old now, and not in the best of health, but still okay and happy. I too may have to make this decision if he gets sicker or is in pain.

Loosing a pet leaves a huge hold in our heart and I hope in time all the joy this dog brought you leaves happy memories to fill that hole.
