So I sit wondering...Why is it that we go
through so much pain? What is it about the Human
Spirit that allows us to go through so much
and remain so resilient? Is it our family behind us,
our challanges that demand the upmost attention?
Is it that we continue to run and run to keep
ourselves distracted from the reason we chose
to get into those situations? In all I choose to
be thankful for what I do have and struggle to get
through the grief of losing a relationship I truly
thought existed. I gingerly touch each new idea with fear
of trust and future regret, not knowing what will truly
come to fruition and what will dissapoint yet again.
My heart is heavy with lonliness, yet my logic will
not allow me to rush any decision and yet...it pushes away
those who may be interested in my future. How do I trust
without fear-the only answer-TIME...in time, we will all
heal and in time we can Celebrate the Dance of Life
that always played. This time we will take the lead...
each choice we have to be on the left or right and the
easier choice never the best...I will take on the work ...
will you dance with me in the end?

Once I learned that I was making some bad choices, I knew that there was hope for me to live differently. It takes time sometimes; but more and more, as time goes I'm making progress and finding that a good deal of the pain I felt is what saves me today from repeating what caused it.

I find alot of freedom, peace and serenity in my life that has sprung from gut wrenching pain; pain caused both by others and myself. I hate pain as much as the next person, but without it I would never know when or how to keep myself happy and safe.
