Found this quite amusing.

Well, I sent the short note to my AD about some kind of amends for the sake of the kids for the holidays and that I loved her.

This is the cute part. She wrote back that she'd think about it but she doesn't know if she's ready to have me back in her life, hurting her again, and that I haven't even told her I'm sorry for all I've put her through lately. She also said that she thinks I've crossed her boundaries when I mentioned to oldest granddaughter that I hoped she come over for Thanksgiving. I didn't even know she knew what that word was. Oh well, I just replied that I'd leave it up to her.

Well done, Baxter. Your side of the street is clean and the good part is that you have let go of what she does with her side.

When we do the best we can, when we have done our part in making amends and letting go of the outcome...then we can stand in our truth, even if we stand alone.

You shine in your truth today, I can see it all the way to Canada.

Hugs

Baxter,
I hope she thinks about it and will decide to come. They can be so stubborn when they want to be. But you did your part and now you just have to wait it out which is hard but be hopeful she will break down her own wall. ((hugs))
