The surgery went fine. They just put the chest tube in another place. She's worried about what will happen if the lung keeps collapsing, so I did a little research and told her the options. I told her I'm giving her an honorary nursing license when all this is over
Her and Hank did get some down time, and went out to eat and chat with the local people, and was having a good time when she last e-mailed me.
They are planning on heading back home today, and I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to say "goodbye" for the last time.
I really appreciate all the cyber-support you all have given Anvil, Hank...and Bucky, of course

so glad the surgery went well and Hank and Tess got a moment to breathe and enjoy a moment away..
I am sad to hear that they have to say 'goodbye' and leave...they are in my thoughts...
