Sad, sad, sad disease. I do wish society would make up its mind - are they sick or are they just criminals? But there are no easy answers either. I know this must be very painful, but also there is the knowing where he is now at all times, and that's a relief in its own way. Sometimes addicts get the message in prison. I pray you son does.

Hard to believe it has come to this.
We open ourselves to double pain when we argue with reality.
You do seem to have acceptance
With letters, phones and visits you will find a new way to be close.
Surely you will have many happy days even in this circumstance.
