Heroin addicts.........
ANyone who is a heroin addict and wont get upset or want to use by some questions, can i please talk to you?? I have some questions, im just trying to understand what my brother is going through and thought maybe someone here could help me.........thank you so much

When I initially became aware that my daughter was addicted to heroin, I became obsessed with trying to understand it.
One of the more educational places I lurked was at opiophile.com.
Registration is not automatic and it's unlikely they will accept someone who has questions. But if you want to understand, the threads/posts say it all.
Things that become obvious real quick is that they all believed they could control it and never get hooked. And the " it's not so bad" thing is gradual decent.
There is tremendous emphasis on harm reduction and they rally around known posters who are trying to get or stay sober. There are also plenty of war stories and saddness and some incredible humor.
It's a reminder that there is a soul within every junky.
