My dog got run over. Prayers please.

I went to get the mail today and my dog started chasing a passing car and got run over. The person was nice enough to stop and even took me to the vet as I cant drive. Its not their responsibility to pay the vet bill but the guy is going to pay for her vet bill too. There is still good people out there! But Mya is such a tiny little thing. She is a Carine Terrier. She is urinating pure blood and throwing up blood. They gave her pain medicine and will have to do an xray. They had another emergency and mya will have to wait. But please pray for her that she will be ok. She is my dog but she is a true member of my family and is treated as such.
The guy felt so bad. My 4 year old asked him "Why did you run over my dg? That was mean." Lol The guy felt so bad.

I'm so sorry - I know our dog is the love of my kids and I's life and part of the family. I'm sorry you had to witness it. Prayers for Mya - keep us posted and how nice of the person that hit her to be so kind.

I just called the vet as I hadnt heard anything yet and the receptionist said that they did an xray and the uterus looks to be intact. They are going to put her on an IV for the night and keep her comfortable with pain medicine. My concern is that when she got run over she immediately squated and pee bright red blood and when we got to the vet she threw up blood too. The vet said she threw up because of the pain she was in. Im just so sad. I wont know anything till tomarrow. Please keep Mya in your prayers that she will be ok. Thank you.

Sending my prayers also. I really hope she's okay! I love animals and I know if something like that happened to one of my cats, I'd be devestated! Much love and much hugs!

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. And hope that it all turns out well.

I lost a boxer hit by a car and the people did not even stop. After x-rays he had to be put down. Boy I cried and cried. My knew dog has never been loose because I'm scared of it happening again.

I know how you feel and will be checking here to see if your dog is ok. Will pray for you and your doggie.

Aww, I'm so sorry but I am really glad the guy who hit her was so nice about it. I had my dog's mom and was there when she was born. She used to run the neighborhood but now that I am in an apartment the old girl has settled down thank goodness because I would be a basket case with out her lol. They really are family, I don't care what anyone says I swear that dog can read me like a book! Many prayers for you and your son, poor little guy and of course your dog to make a speedy recovery. Peace. Oh and woof too.
