Prayers fro Mya and for you and your family too. I know how painful it is when a loved one is hurt...And your dog is indeed a loved family member.

Praying for the man who hit her too - I'm sure he feels terrible. How kind of him to help you out.

Wow. Thanks so much for all the prayers here. The vet called me again about 6:30. She sounded pretty positive about Mya. She said they did an xray and she has no broken bones. She was really worried because she is a small dog. She was hoping to see that he bladder was still intact but couldnt tell. She has an IV and the vet would be checking on her about 9pm or so. She didnt call me so I am assuming that Mya was ok. They will do another xray in the morning at 8am to see if she can see her bladder. She is comfortable as they are giving her pain medicine. I hope to have her home soon. I miss her terribly already. Oh, and my son is doing ok. We went out to dinner to get our minds off the events of today.

Morning Gwen,
Hopefully the Vet is doing an Ultrasound of the bladder, maybe that's what she meant.

Prayers for your Mya...and you...

Sorry I'm late on this, but sending prayers for you, your son, Mya, and the poor man who ran over her.

My furbabies are most definitely part of the family, and I understand how hard this is. Please keep us posted.

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Thank you all so much for the prayers. Mya and I just got home. There is still a little blood in the urine but otherwise is ok. She is on 2 medicines-antibiotics and pain meds. She is so haapy to be home and we are so very grateful to have her back. The vet bill was $310.20 paid in full by the gentleman that ran her over. I need to send him a card of thanks but it could never express my gratitude. I'd never be able to come up with that kind of money.

So thanks to all her once again for the support and prayers.

I'm so glad Mya is okay, and the guy that hit her is truly a wonderful person. I would send him a picture of Mya, too, so he can erase the picture he has in his head of her being hurt.

Hugs and prayers!

Thank's for checking in. I was looking for your thread to see how it was going. I will check back tonight. But sounds like it will be ok.

I'm so relieved to know Mya is going to be okay...and I'm thankful too, for that man who made sure your little one got the care she needed. Not many people even think of doing 'the next right thing' like he did.
Please give Mya an extra doggy treat from me.

Just a little update, Mya is doing good. Today is day 4 and she is preety sore more today than the last few days. Ive noticed blood in her urine today. It was clear yesterday. SHe lost some blader control and pee's on accident in the house. The vet said its all really sore inside yet and to expect her to have accidents in the home and blood in urine. Her foot is healing nicely too. But she is a pretty happy doggie. Thanks again for all the prayers.

How wonderful that Mya is doing well and what a wonderful person that he was willing to pay. He must be an animal lover. Hugs, Marle
