Thing's are really good...

It has been a few weeks since my last post, my :praying:atv:prayingAD Lauren has came to my house and stayed a few nights, she has been clean since June. We have been getting along alot better and I truly think me finally walking away from everything really had an impact on her. I feel better than I have in years and it is a great feeling knowing I can walk away and say no more and I don't have to feel guily!! Tomorrow Lauren starts her new job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have stopped giving her money. I just hope it all goes well!! Keep us in your prayers !!!

Obsessed, thank you so much for making my night. I know how hard you have struggled and the pain you have gone through. I'm so happy that you were able to get out of the way and Lauren took that chance to grow and take some responsibility for her actions. I'm thrilled you and your daughter are reestablishing your relationship. Many hugs

Wow that is awesome. I am so happy for you both. My AD is working on her recovery, but it's only been a week and a half. Time will tell if it's going to take. We'll just have to go one day at a time.

It just amazes me how well enforcing boundaries works. It's like all you have to do is focus on yourself and clean up your own side of the street, and EVERYONE'S world gets a little better.
