I can't always watch the show as sometimes it is just too much for me. I mean like hurts to watch some of the things knowing my RAD was doing that too. But I am glad I caught last nights. It was w an audience & they could ask questions. Jeff on of the interventionalists was on too. He said how he had 17 years clean & sober & ended up drinking. He now has 6 months clean & sober & is on a leave from the show so he can take care of himself. They said the sucess rate was sometimg like 77 of 100 they did are still clean today. They talked about the importance of boundries & how the ones who got well, had a wole family that got well. No enabaling ect.
I saw it on at 9:50 last night so I stayed awake to see the rerun at 1am.
I love that show and I remember all those peoples storiess. I especially love hubert.
and how about mr. van derwhatever (the intervention guy) admitting to a relapse, I felt so touched by that.
