Feeling Befuddled or Mixed Up

I really don't know what I am feeling today. I have such mixed emotions over all of this. I know his parole was revoked for screwing up at Wk Release. Evidently he is not ready to function outside of jail if he can't make it in wk release.
I know he is leaning on his biological father who I divorced over 30yrs ago. He came bk into our lives about 6 mts ago when he called me looking to have a relationship with his 2 sons. It seems his dad offered to hire a lawyer so he can have a Re Parole Hearing. I live in PA and I have never heard of such a thing. As I understand things because of his Misconduct in Wk Release his Sept 10th parole is revoked. I thought you had to wait awhile & have good behaviour & then apply for parole once again. I do know if he doesn't get paroled he has to stay in jail till Dec 09. I just found that out when all of this happened.
Thanks for reading. I am really not asking anything just venting.

Hugs and love - this stuff is so very hard. But I think you are doing a great job. Some days all I could do was to just get up and put one foot in front of another. God must have helped me keep my job - because my head certainly wasn't there.

Keep posting - we care.

Love in recovery,
Jody Hepler

Thanks Jody, Right now I am not wking due to having had 8 bk surgeries, the last being a Spinal Revision 3 yrs ago this past June. It gave me my life bk & at least now I can do just about everything. My hubby & I are kept pretty busy helping our 35 yr old son raise his 2 children. He is a single dad.
Because of my AS's addiction he lost his parental rights to his 2 sons. It breaks my heart cuz because of it I haven't seen them in over 5 yrs.
Sometimes I wish I had never had kids, mine have brought me alot of heartache.

rozied,

I raised my kids saying "Don't ever get married and don't ever have kids!" They've both listened to me although now I'm not so sure that was a very good thing for them to hear??? They are still young and can seek mental health and still find "good" relationships (if that's God's plan for them!) Just thought it was funny (?) after seeing your comment about sometimes wishing you'd never had kids - sure know how you feel about that sometimes too.

I'll keep you in my thoughts - One minute at a time sometimes.
Joan
