My exabf was a meth addict for over ten years prior to me meeting him when he was sober. He was in prison for two years and I believe the last year he was in a prison rehab type of program.
After his release in 2005 he was ordered to stay clean and sober and was on parole, which he took very seriously. Two weeks after he was released from parole he started drinking. That was a year and a half ago. Now he's addicted to the booze. I think what a waste of a good person and a good program.
So sad.
