I just wanted to let you know I found my little place today! It's an older duplex, but my side has a HUGE yard - bright! It's an older structure, but very well maintained, clean, funky - but the main thing... It felt right! My friend and her daughter came with me (they live a few doors down) and when we walked in we all loved it and it felt good - The owner was there, she said she would like to rent to me, I left a deposit and formality wise I'll fax her my credit report - but it was one of those things - we like each other, it all just worked!

So, attorney on Monday needs to get that check back and get everything firmed up and give me the go ahead to sign on the dotted line and I can start moving right away!

I'm a little anxious, I gotta say. As uncomfortable as my situation has been, I've also gotten used to it. I'm still in my neighborhood and familiar, but I'm unable to actually "live" in my own home, so I know this is it, but 8 hours later, it's sinking in - this is real!

I need to find my big girl panties - YIKES!

That's it for now, now let's just hope the rest of it goes...
