Come on baby, light my fire...
I have had the divorce paperwork to submit to the lawyer since Jan. and I've really been dragging my feet on it.
So I spoke to my lawyer yesterday, since she wanted to know the status and I mentioned that I just want to keep the whole matter on hold. I keep telling myself that I know we'll eventually get divorced, I just don't need to do it *today*.
But I also mentioned to the lawyer that my husband needed a new credit card for business travel, since the other one he had in his name is at the credit limit (I cancelled all the cards in his name that were on MY accounts). And she reminded me that any debt he incurs during our marriage will be joint debt. So if I'm looking to light a fire under myself... here it is.
I know he has 5,000+ on one card (mostly porn and movies as soon as they are released), and I know he opened an Amex card only to use for a business trip (haha, kind of like giving an alcoholic a tab at a liquor store).
So...I know it is all supposed to be "in our own time" but what do you do when you come across a situation like this? Is my HP trying to tell me the time is right?

Giving you more facts to make a more informed decision, sounds like to me -
I agree with Anvil.
Sounds like you're struggling a bit. Hugs to you! Remember, you need to make sure you're taking care of YOU!
