Huge hugs and prayers (more than usual) to you and Megan. And I gotta be honest..I won't pray that he doesn't get the job, but I am praying that nothing happens to give her even more access to drugs. I guess that's still the same, but it's what I'm hoping for.

Sending prayers that Megan finds the strength to overcome her active use and she seeks rehab. Praying for you to have strength to take it one day at a time. I will ask for things to turn out the way HP has in his plans and if her BF gets the job they use it for good things and not the disease.

Last night as I lay in bed I started to pray for Megan to go to rehab and then I changed that prayer. Instead I asked that God take my worries and give me peace of mind. I do believe that I can accept whatever happens. Maybe if the abf gets the job that will help them both to reach their bottoms. Maybe not, but it is in God's hands and I need to leave it there. Thanks for the prayers, I do have faith that they help. Hugs, Marle

Chiming in late here but adding prayers and support just the same. It sounds like you are in a good place in your own recovery. I get scared at times like this and it leads me to doubts and fears about what might be in store. That's a good time to take a deep breath and remember that HP has got the plan. Step 1, 2, 3 lead me gently at times like this. Keep us posted on how you are doing and how Megan is.

Sorry I missed this yesterday Marle. I was away at my summer place and I don't have a computer there. I have been praying that Megan get so sick and tired of her life that she only has one way to go and she has to change it. I have seen so many changes in my daughter.....slowly but all to the good. She told me she was so sick of the life that she had and she can't believe that she actually likes her life now. She said it feels sooo good. It sounds like Megan is really sick of her life. I feel it is going to happen.
We may not know what the plan is but these things are happening for some unknown reason. If he does get the job, it might be harder for her to walk away but if she wants sobriety bad enough it will only make her feel better to walk under those circumstances.
Prayers for peace for you and Mr. Marle/ Prayers that Megan will face this with strength and determination no matter what.
