Prayers needed...(way off topic!)
Prayers needed...(way off topic!)
Since I feel I know all of you closely, and value you all as true friends, I was hoping you could push a few prayers my way.
Mr. Moose was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy last November, and I tell you, the poor fella has been having a heck of a time. He's had 3 seizures so far, with the last one being while we were in Florida. They upped his medication at the time, and since that seizure, he's been forgetful, somewhat disoriented, depressed, and occasionally Arky-barky. (can't blame him either!)
He will be seeing a Epileptology Psychiatrist whenever they call to set up the appt.
When we came back home here to Ohio, we had a visit with a new Neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic, and he is starting Mr. Moose on a new medication. The only problem is, you can't stop one, and start another, it's a long process, which will take 15 weeks.
I am praying the symptoms he is now experiencing will disappear after he is taken off this medication. He sure could use some prayers, if you could.
Other than that, life is pretty good. My 12 steps are helping me cope daily, and it is a learning process in tolerance, and patience.
Little did I know I would be applying the 12 steps to life other than an addicts journey.
As for my oldest, he is still using, and will be returning to prison soon, of that I am sure. He has a court date the end of this month, and then I'm sure he'll be back to a cot and 3 hots.
As for the oldest, he is sober, for today, and struggling to find work, and helping his GF attend college. He will return to college after she is done, well, that's their plan. I am just thankful they have a plan!
Thank you all,
