Angry Should I help him?

My H has a job interview that is about 20 miles away. I just started a new job that is very close to home...He lost his license and should not drive none of our vehicles have proper registeration so I am taking the bus to work. He wants me to drive him to his interview before I have to go to work. I don't want to do it because for one thing the gas, next the registration, and it's raining and the windshield wipers don't work.

I admit I drive quick runs to the grociery store that is over 2 miles away and walking that far with bundles would be really hard. I walk over a mile to a bus stop to get to work.

I feel really over extended with my H I know he needs a job can't he find something more covenant if he wants to depend on me for a lift?

I am confused about the registration - is your car not registered? If not, I wouldn't even consider it.

Since this is a job interview, if he GETS the job how will he get back and forth without a license? It makes no sense for him to attempt to get a job under these conditions unless there is public transportatin available. But he needs to figure that out for himself.

This is one of those places where I would struggle a bit, but ultimately it is HIS deal to figure out. His choices = his consequences. There are plenty of people out there who don't have a license and have to find alternate transportation. Maybe he should look into a bus pass or a good bicycle!

My son worked about 20 miles away while living here with no
car. He met people at work who were willing to pick him up
and bring him home provided gas money. I did give him the
ride for the interview though.

wow..talk about hp intervention.
i say...if you wouldn't do it for yourself (put yourself at risk) than you shouldn't do it for anyone else.

Oh no joint assets due to an iron clad prenuptial agreement that a lawyer friend insisted on drafting up just for me. What a friend I will always be glad I did that. His motorcycle is his not mine.
