I started a new thread because today the show called me. It was a guy named Nick from California. He told me they are going to e mail me to tell me what I have to do to be considered for the show. He gave me his number & said to call after I read the e mail. I didn't tell him yet my son is incarcerated, but I figured one step at a time. I will keep you all posted.

The show is based out of LA as are the interventionists.
But we've seen them do the actual tapings in other states, so you have a chance
I haven't seen them do an episode abt. someone coming out of prison, so maybe they will be interested in you and your son's situation as a new idea for the show.
I applied when they 1st advertised abt. 6 mos. before they aired their 1st show and they req. me to send in a video tape which I couldn't do at that time.
This is exciting that they called you. Good luck.

That's very cool, Diane. I contacted them about 3 years ago by e-mail.
I never heard anything back. Good for your son. I hope they choose his
story, too.

Thanks Everyone, I was shocked when they called. I had been praying non stop since last nite when I e mailed them, and never did I expect a call back so fast. I just read the 5 page e mail they sent me. There is alot you have to do in order to get picked. The most important thing is your addicted love one cannot know they are being considered for the intervention. Kind of hard when they want a video tape. I am not saying anything to anyone for fear it will hurt his chances......so I am not going to say anymore about this even in here.
One day if it works out I will tell everything that happened.
Someone we know was done on this show over 2 yrs ago & they are still doing good.
Thanks to you all for your love, prayers & support. Please keep praying this will work out. I would do anything if it would help my son get well.

Pam I pray we get that far. I know hundreds and thousands of people write in, then there is alot you must do, then they pick only a few. I will be praying without ceasing & I will be thankful for any prayers that are said for us.
