Cool Will Lay On Your Couch For Food

I think I am going to make a sign for my H and set him out on a corner and see if he gets any takers....

If he is cute, he just might get a taker.

Lady puts an ad in the paper...Looking for a man.
She gets 500 replies and they all said the same thing...

You can have mine.

I feel like a butt whole for doing this but it is something that makes me laugh. I know it is better to see the humor in stuff. I can see that my anger is very hot cause the humor is a little sarcastic.

Splendra - I love this. It reminds of the episode where my AH so kindly offered to let me help him by folding his shirts for a trip!

Anything else you can do? Maybe get an order pad, a bell for service, etc.? Sometimes if you can't make a joke of it, it could really get ugly!

Hope you get your girls' weekend!

Love that! Love that! Love that! Puts me in mind of that joke...

Why is the laundromat a bad place to pick up women?

Because if she can't afford her own washer and dryer, how can she support you?

Keep laughing!

Lol, good humour!! 2 weeks ago I went to a tea leaf reader (86 years old) for fun with a friend. The reader told me to be aware of a man who just wants to lie on my couch and get a free meal...lol...my friend and I both laughed, and I replied I already kicked him to the curb!

First, anvil, thanks for the lesson on "lay" and "lie". I never can keep those straight.

Splenda, you do my heart good because if we can't laugh in this old world, we are just in a pitiful state. Humor IS GOOD and sometimes, just like that old thread we had going way back when about Dev's son's wedding that was to take place in prison and what we all were going to wear. I remember some of those humorous times around this place being the ONLY bright spot in my day.

So you just keep that sense of humor and know that we need to laugh even when life isn't going as we'd like.

Big hugs and belly laughs,

Hangin' In
P.S. I have some very codie friends who would take your son in a heartbeat. Shall I give you their numbers? 1-800-SUCKERS.

I have tried to find that thread several times cause I have laughed along with that one too. I wonder if it got lost in one of the crashes? If anyone can find I would love to see it bumped to the top just for old times sake if nothing else.

Yes I know humor is good and I need it so much...

I've looked high and low and just cannot find the Prison Wedding thread, it really was a classic and must have been lost in one of the crashes.

I did, however, find the Dr. Phil thread, and still laugh til I hurt every time I read it.
