I would like to thank everyone on this forum. It was a great source of strength for me, it was honestlythe only sane thing in my life some days and truly helped me gather the stregth I needed to move forward in my life. I am completely sure now that I will have a wonderful life just me and my kids. I have detached from my ABF. We had been together for 11 years, I loved him deeply, until drug abuse took over. When I look back there was so many issues I refused to see...it took me along time to be strong enough to cut him out of my life but I have, and I am soooooo much happier, as are my kids. For all of you wondering if you should stay or leave, I truly believe you will know your own answer all in good time. You cannot rush it, you cannot control it, you will stay or go when your gut tells you what to do. Keep busy, try not to dwell on your addicts behavoir, do lots for you!! You guys are great!!!!!! THANK YOU.
