I can't imagine how frightening this is for you and my prayers go out that no matter what the result, you will be comforted knowing that wherever your son is, God is with him too.
As you know, my son is among the "missing", and I get through my days by saying a prayer each morning giving him to God.

My brother was missing for three years on his drug induced travels. He got in contact with me after he got a letter from my lawyer evicting him from our family home. When I talked with him on the phone chills went up and down my back...
I am a sister but also a Mother to a son that is now a quadraplegic in the VA Hospital from a suicide attempt. I didn't know if either of them were alive or dead for quite a while so know all the feelings and heart ache a Mom or Sister go through.

stephensmom, after reading this, I had to go and look in on my 19 year old Son sound asleep and thank God one more time today.
I can only Pray that you & your Family find the Peace in your hearts and souls that you are seeking.

I was thinking abut you recently and saying many prayers for you and your son. I'm so sorry...this must be so incredibly difficult. We are with you through this darkness and my prayers continue.

I'm storming the Universe for you for a good outcome, I can imagine your pain, I have an addict son and my daughter has been missing for years. I hope all will turn out good for you and will continue to pray my most most positive ones for you Stephen and your family.

Many prayers for you and your family today. May peace and serenity find your soul and help to comfort you in this time of difficult. I couldn't imagine going through what you are with you child. Going through it with my AH was hard enough, but my child, I cry at the thought.

My Stephen is back in active addiction again recently and I cannot imagine going through what you are right now, whether it does turn out to be him or not. Ann is so right that we can trust that God is with personally and completely, no matter which way it turns out. We do need to remember that and also know that we are all here for you too. I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this at all and it just should never be.
