newcomers

i just want to welcome all of you to S.R. i have been rather slack lately & have not been posting or reading the way i usually do. i hope you all will find the support & wisdom that i have always found here. sober recovery saved my life when i joined this group. their is so much wisdom here & you will never be alone. i may not have been here for you but i am secure in knowing that you got the help & support that you needed. welcome to S.R & keep coming back. we can not change the addict but we can change ourselves. we can learn to live a life of hope & peace one day at a time. hugs & prayers to you all, hope

Nice welcome, Hope, and I'd like to welcome the newcomer also.

Come in, make yourself comfortable and know that you are among people who understand because we have been where you are. You are no longer alone.

May you find the fellowship, the support, the kindness and love that we all feel here every day.

We walk together on this journey of recovery, please walk with us a while and let us share our light until you can find your own again.

Welcome.

Hugs

Moose is in snowbird mode, and I'm in work mode! What is wrong with that picture? (Trying not to be jealous, Moose. )

I, too, want to welcome the newcomer. You know, we were ALL newcomers at one time, and I am so grateful there was someone here to welcome me. There is great support and wisdom here, so I pray that all you newcomers will stick around long enough to see that recovery really is possible.

And thanks, Hope, for starting this thread.

Hugs to all,
