Talking I am having a PARTY! You're invited!

After the 2 long years of battling all the credit card issues from my xh. I finally got a credit card of my own. I now am on the upswing.
I still have one single thing I am fighting tooth and nail, but I GOT A CARD!!
Diligence pays off! My score is now, 705!

Woo Hoo!
Come sit on the deck in a nice lounge chair (it will be almost 70 here tomorrow), and lets have a cook out! Bring anything you can. Coke, chips, dip, BBQ!! I will bring the fine wine and tiramisu! LOL, I am giddy! I deserve this!!! Yippee! *****oo!:bounce

Good for you!!!

I'm trying to rebuild my credit and I'm the one who screwed it up while I was active...I can't imagine how absolutely irritating it must be to be repairing credit screwed up by someone else!

It's cold here....70 degrees sounds nice!

I'm really happy for you!

Hugs and prayers!

Amy

Good for you!

I can so relate to credit issues. After my divorce I had trouble getting a video rental card! No joke.

Now, may I ask for directions for the Wabbit Hole? In the 70's huh? We keep getting pounded with snow here in Ohio. Hitting 70 degrees would be reason enough for me to throw a party!

Again, I'm happy for you. It's nice to hear good news on here.

God Bless

Woo Hoo! Good for you! I know how hard it is. In my 20's I screwed up my credit. So far I'm OK - but I didn't get a credit card until I was almost 30 again - and then very low limits, but I didn't care, I felt like I was rewarded for "good behavior". Yippee and Great Job!

I'll bring some wine from the wine country- anything else?

know the credit thing sucks...........did u know that you will get points away if you go up and just buy stuff with cash....ie last year everyone remembers I bought my house? I went and gave them the money for my house cash paid it off right there... my credit went from 601 to 471.......huh?

now with the newest medical bills and new student loans.....I am at the grand total of 414...HUH?

might as well say I will never have good credit again

Boy, I could be a financial advisor with all I learned (the hard way) about how to rebuild your credit.
My xh had added me, unbeknownst to me, to several of his cards, even as a joint holder.
When I left him and decided maybe it was time for me to look into a house of my own, BOOM! I ran my credit reports and much to my absolute horror, there were close to 100 thousand dollars in unpaid debt, all of it his.

He was/is addicted to oxy and everything else. So, I imagine thats where all that money went.
Believe me, when I say "check your credit report", I mean it!! It's more than a headache you go through when someone does something like this to you.

Thanks to all for partying with me today!!

But,
