Good News

He is looking for a program!!!!!!! He has left here to go stay with family that can keep him away from using while he finds treatment. I will admit it was to see him go, but my mind was put at ease when he arrived and he was doing well there. I know he is not in a program yet but removing himself from this enviroment and away from his using buddies is the best thing that has happened..

For those of you who know my whole story, know that this is a great step. please pray for us that we continue on the road to recovery:praying

Awesome, awesome!!!

I'll be praying for you and yours today..... Don't know the details of your story, but to see and hear this kind of thing happen is what all of us here are hoping to see happen in the lives of our own beloved addicts..

Thanks for sharing this good news with us.

First and foremost, thank you all for your support and kind words. Only those of us who have been there can truly understand the trials of family and loved ones of addicts.

He has not found a program who has room yet where he is (I even called and double checked) but he has been clean for a week and is attending meetings. So we are still in the baby step phase, but I think these are steps in the right direction.
