Comin' in late, but wanted to add how happy I am that you
chose the better path. :ghug3
Your light shines on this place so much.
I would hate to see it go out. You are such an inspiration to
everyone. Recovering addicts and codies alike.
You mean so much to us, Nyte, and I'm so proud of you tonight.
With love, prayers, and continued strength.
Linda

very inspiring.

you took the action, asked for help, and God delivered thru the good folks here.

Why do we sometimes doubt him?

thanks for sharing

I am so very proud of you. I've been having the same kind of evil thoughts lately, to kill the pain with alcohol. Then I remember what a horrible, horrible world that was for me. You can stick with it, passion. You're way too good a person to get caught up in that crap again.
I'm sorry things are rough in your marraige right now, but I know you'll let your hp handle it. Prayers going up for you and your family, Hang in there, passsion, keep posting. Maybe you'll treat us to another picture of your beautiful Dakota!!

It's so amazing to see it working, isn't it? I'm not sure why I never saw all the miracles in life until recovery, but now I see them daily. Thanks for sharing yet one more miracle. Hugs and continued prayers for you and your family.

Nyte, I'm thinking what you did would be called, "Doing the next right thing."

Way to go. You took advantage of the tools you already had and reached out to recovery friends who understand. Thanks for sharing with us, showing that we all are vulnerable everyday, but we can make it, one day at a time, if we use the tools we've learned about through recovery.

BIG HUGS!

That's right, when we take that step and get rid of the reservation - there is this rush of freedom!

Those thoughts will come and go, Passion, but you didn't "entertain" it, you kicked it to the curb and I am so darn proud of you for doing that.

Hangin' here taught me to stay clear of those one-way streets that never take us to any place good, and to make a fast u-turn if I find myself heading that way. I do believe I saw you lay rubber as you squealed your tires outa there.

Big hugs to you and to little Dakota too, who I know is happy to have her mommy heathy and strong today.

Now can you pass the tissues please.
Happy tears filled with joy are the best thing ever.
