Tom Cruise & Scientology

Anyone see his latest video "Claiming" they are the "AUTHORITIES" ON drug addiction and they can reform criminals?

Then how come we still have some left?

Thumbs down

They've been making the claim about drug addiction recovery perfection for years now.
And their name is VERY similar to naranon; I think it's like narcanon. It's meant to decieve, and trick people into thinking it's legit. Pathetic!
I know, years ago, I almost sent Trevor there.
Then, at the bottom, I saw the sientology connection in the small print...
very small print.
And I threw the crap out.
Makes me want to vomit when they pull that crap.

Sorry, I have no respect for groups or organizations that try to pull the wool over anyone's eyes. If it's legit, you can stand up proudly with the facts and let those facts speak for themselves.

Snake oil salesmen is what they are...

Oh, that felt MUCH better!

Shalom!

I know they have lol , but this is his newest one, it's rather funny & disgusting. He claims they are the only ones who can help people who have been in car crashes too.. :rof

Yea it is Narcanon. They've also killed people with their detox methods in the sauna.

Being a Scientologist, you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them.

“Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident… you know you have to do something about it because you know you’re the only one that can really help.

His laugh @ the end of the video scared me more than his jumping on the couch. It was creepy.

If they can do all this stuff....

WHY THE HELL DON'T THEY????

Seems to me, they are another type of addict...
An addict of their own self-importance, maybe? :codiepolice

Everyone has some narcissistic traits. However, narcissism can also manifest in an extreme pathological form in some personality disorders such as Narcissistic Personality Disorder wherein the patient overestimates his abilities and has an excessive need for admiration and affirmation. This may be present to such a degree that it severely damages the person's ability to live a productive or happy life because the traits manifest as severe selfishness and disregard for the needs and feelings of others.

I never did like tom Cruise...that said,

I know somebody who got clean from coke and has been clean for 20 yrs. from the scientology detox...That said...

This same person has spent an awful lot of money on his religion...and was always trying to convert me...

I like to think i am tolerant of all religions,,except for the extremist forms (and Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindu's, all have an extremist group amoung them-and I suspect that some scientologists are a bit extreme, like Tom here, but maybe not all of them...)

That said...

it seems like scientology is the ONLY religion that makes you PAY $$ to learn about their religion, and that makes me suspicious.

Is there a Scientologist reading this who can explain that?

That's a fellow I never really cared for...
I aways was of the opinion he was full of himself...

Now, John Travolta is also a Scientologist, and I've never heard rambling on attempting to convert people, or heal them.

How much is Mr. Cruise, and his church charging for his miraculous recoveries?

(I can hear him now, slapping someones forehead saying "Spirits come OUT")

Well I've been locked in a room by Scientology's before, separated from my friend, my car keys taken away, etc., I was also locked in a room in LA by them and I didn't even know they were Scientology's till that day. Yes, you DO have to pay them. Or work for them for free, which I did the 2nd time, I thought I was "Training" for a job for two (for free) come to find out it was Scientology.

I did work for someone who was into it, and she was very normal, and didn't try and sway me @ all, so it's not all of them, it's the one's like Tom Cruise and these others who try and get you in and are cultish about it.

Tom Cruise has nothingg left of whatever sense he did possess.

Heck! he hasn't interested me as an actor for ages
and that's all I ever gave him credit for anyway!.

From Top Gun to Bottom Rung.

My son and I were once invited to go to a Scientology service/gathering/pep rally. We have both always been very open to many theologies and have attended services at churches of various denominations, learning many things and expanding our spiritual horizons.

That said...we literally went running out of this meeting. We had sat through about a half hour of this, he looked at me and I looked at him....and we both just ran out the back door.

I tend to not knock any religious/spiritual practice, but that one is one I shall never ever return to for a second look.
