Maybe because you need to mourn, mourn the loss of what might have been, of your dreams for your life together and just for the energy and emotion this all has cost you.

It takes mourning and endings before you can find new beginnings, but I promise you that life can hold wonderful promises of better days ahead for you.

Often, by the time we close the door, the room was already empty. It's still hard closing that door.
