That one?
lol, on the bottom right you can use the quote buttom,
or up top there's a button by the yellow mountain picture button that looks like a tablet.
You can highlight your words you would like quoted and use that.
If all else fails,
Type
[quote ]
in front
and end it with [ / q.uote]
but no perioud in the quote
What I do...which is most likely the wrong way...LOL
I hit quote, and don't disturb the end words, like the brackets, and I erase all the words, I back space, what I DON'T want, in the quote.
Then, I reply under it, and send it.
That help? Probably not...

SJR - if you look at your last post, you will see that a bracket ( [ ) got deleted out of the "code" that the bulletin board software looks for.
When we push the "quote" button in our Quick Reply box (where we type the message), it automatically adds "tags" to our words.
So I highlight the words I want quoted.
Push the button that looks like a cartoon word bubble
What I see in the message box looks like this:
[ quote ] This is the sentence I want to quote. [ / quote ]
(I added spaces so the tag would be readable)
What shows up on the front page after we hit "reply", is this:
If I want to, I can just type the tags in.
Some common UBB (ultimate bulletin board) tags are:
[ b ] bold [ / b ]
[ center ] center [ / center ]
[ color=red ] red [ / color ]
[ i ] italics [ / i ]
[ img ] the url for a picture that is already hosted on a web site [ / img ]
(yeah, that's me playing "One Ringy-Dingy" with my grandson's play phone... and no, that isn't my house!)
Hope this helps!!!

Moose - I don't use the attachment thingy. It requires a VERY small picture, which takes some sort of picture editing software, which is beyond most beginners.
What I do is go to
ImageShack® - Hosting
On the front page is a BROWSE box.
Click in the BROWSE box
Search your computer for the picture you want to upload.
Click the box to resize the image (I pick the one for message boards)
Click the box to remove size/resolution bar from thumbnail
Press HOST!

Once the photo uploads to Imageshack, the page changes to a whole list of URLs...
Go to the VERY LAST ONE (not showing on picture above).... it will say - DIRECT LINK TO IMAGE
Copy THAT URL
Come back to SR, and pick the button that looks like a box with a mountain range on it...
Be sure the "http" part is already highlighted. And PASTE your URL from imageshack into that box.
Voila!! You have a picture hosted on the web at image shack, and you've put the URL here at SR.
Clear as mud? (smile)
PS - there is a limit of 3 images per post.... and that includes smilies.

I can do it that way too, but the other way is easier for me...
and I always make sure my pictures are within regular size, or I shrink them with infranview.
What I'm saying is MY way isn't working.
I may have to resort to YOUR way...ha ha ha
