Update from me...
Hi everyone! It's been a while since last I posted. Not much is going on.
Christmas went by without a hitch, thank God.
Spent the Eve with in-laws. Very nice get together with name exchange gift giving and watching my bils' kids open up gifts that hubby and I gave them. Some books, of course. They expect and even ask for, so...
Try to get up some rousing games, like charades, all to no avail. Bunch o' party poopers if ya ask me.
Christmas Day we went to my sisters for dinner. Lots of folks in a very small area.
Brother, sil, and the two almost adult children.
Sister, bf, and two of her adult children. One is an addict son, I've mentioned. Other addict son is in jail.
My as and his lovely bi-polar, without the meds, elderly gf.
He was on his best behavior, btw.
Dinner was superb and downright country-fied. Is that a word, Loves?
Of course, it is.
Ya know somethin'? I don't even care about the gift giving thing anymore.
My son is sober, medicated, in counseling, and things are looking up. I can't ask for more than that.
Well, except for that 2008 Mazda 3, I been eyeballin'. lol
I did relapse with the cigarettes a couple of weeks ago.
After putting on 25 lbs., I was at wits end. So wtf?
I'll try again at a later date. Had a few panic attacks over the last couple of weeks. Have no idea the trigger/triggers. lol
My deceased alcoholic mother's b-day would have been December 16th.
Ya think?
I seem to be back on track again, so...
Another Christmas over. Survived and even smiled alot through it.
Hope everyone has a stupendous, but safe, Happy New Year's Eve.
I love and have missed you all. See lots of newbies. Very cool.
Will introduce myself properly when I have more time.
In the meanwhile...
Welcome and read my signature line. So true.
Love and prayers to all,
Linda
