Plane reading

Well, packing up now for a trip back in the heart of darkness, the land of my family's serial addictions, for Christmas.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for some airplane reading -- I'm looking for a self-helpish kind of book that might help me stay positive and optimistic, but which won't look too bad if my relatives find it on the nightstand (in other words, How to Deal With Impossible Relatives is probably out )

What have you read lately that helped you to see things in a new way?

Love,
GL

"It's So Hard To Love You: Staying Sane When Your Loved
One Is Manipulative, Needy, Dishonest, or Addicted"
by Bill Klatte and Kate Thompson.

It's just strategies for dealing with people who
are really hard to love. Think your relatives would
be offended by that? lol

Happy reading,

I recommend Eat, Pray, and Love. It's not really "self help" but it did help me a lot.

Merry Merry!

I'm reading a great book...called How to have a Mary Heart in a Martha World. The focus is on setting aside daily chaos and distractions and making time to have a relationship with your HP. I'm about 1/2 way thru it right now and there's some really good stuff in it !!

Have a safe flight ! You'll find plenty of snow waiting for you when you arrive in Michigan, my friend !!! Pack warm clothing !!!
