does anyone know...

hi, i haven't had time to be on here yet...still much to tell you guys...i have a quick question though...

does anyone know what 'bars' would reference to?

she is definately not talking about a going to drinking place.

(she said she could score kpins and bars...)~~i overheard her on the phone

i know i will only be able to take a quick glance on here for your answers.
i will be back mon. for sure when she goes to school...or at least pretends to....

They are both in the Benzo family of drugs. Anti anxiety meds downers I guess. VERY dangerous if mixed with alcohol too.

I agree with others above. Bars usually refer to Xanax. If she is addicted to benzos she can't cold turkey from them. Benzos are very dangerous drugs to try to withdraw from without help. Withdrawals can cause seizures and death. Hope she gets some help. Hugs, Marle

you will also hear them called what sounds like zanny bars. But all the above posts are correct....these can be fatal if used with alcohol, very addictive, and extremely dangerous to stop without medical supervision.

They are both used to "relax" people, which is why they're so dangerous when mixed with alcohol...you can relax so much you forget to breathe. Unfortunately, most kids DO mix the 2.
