What are you thankful for today?

Today the sun is shining! Got a pic text from my guy... he was on a bit of an outdoor hike... and he looked really happy! (I did wonder about it being if he was high, but I chose to block it out, and not look for the bad!)

My son and I completed his book report....!!! It took 4 hours... and what a relief it's done!!!

I'm thankful to be on my own this weekend... it feels empowering!!!! (and a little nerve racking!)

I'm thankful that there's a bunch of snow coming this way...12 to 20 inches, they're forecasting!

It'll be nice and cozy to be snowed in for a while.....

ditto on the Christmas shopping. I get mine done before black friday so I don't have to deal with all that mess and chaos! Goodness, I have enough to deal with!

I am thankful that I managed to get 4 days off in a row! Woo Hoo!

I just got back from the emergency room with my 8 yr old little boy. He got what turns out to be a mild concussion at school today. Poor guy had a terrible headache all day and I knew when I walked in the door after work that something just wasn't right. Two and 1/2 hours later...they say he's going to be okay. Boy, that scared me.

I'm thankful that he's healthy and feeling a little better right now. I think I'll go curl up and watch a Christmas show on TV with him. I'm thankful for all the great Christmas stories at this time of year. I never get tired of watching the Grinch Who STole Christmas (the ORIGINAL version, of course)

I'm one relieved mama...

I'm thankful for friends, my family, for purple and orange sunsets, for laughter when I feel like crying and for crying from laughing so hard. I'm thankful for the warm feeling I get when I read here and know that with all the bad out there in this world, there is more good in people.

I am grateful for a good night's sleep, which always makes the next day more likely to be a good one, if only because I can handle my emotions better.

I'm grateful for my little dog, curled up in the round cat bed snoring.

I'm grateful for the gift of my life.

Today is a new day and I have something to be thankful for.
A 2 year old granddaughter who climbed up in my lap and said, "I love you berry berry much".
