9 months today - thanks F&F!

I posted this on the newcomer's thread, too, but wanted to give a special thanks to all of you.

If it wasn't for coming to THIS forum, and learning to deal with my codie issues, I would still be trying to fix the world. And as we all know, that doesn't work. I know for me, if I had continued to get stressed over things/people I can't control, change, or cure, I would have gone back to drugs.

You've become family to me, and I just want you to know how much I truly appreciate you all!

Congratulations on your 9 months. For me, I know that it is enough to deal with my own issues without trying to solve others. I think of solutions in my head but I no longer let them be said. Working on the head part. Progress not perfection. Hugs, Marle

Amen! Me too. I have learned an awful lot here, put it into practice, and now, I am a different person than I was when I first came here. I don't let people manipulate me, I don't allow myself to be abused in any way any more.
