Peace for the Holidays!!!!
Hey, everyone! I have to beg your forgiveness in not being here for the past couple of months or so. I selfishly come and read but I just don’t seem to have enough time to respond; perhaps, not enough mental energy! (y’all know who that is!)
I just want to make sure that I tell everyone here, both new and old members (and I don’t mean age! Lol) that I hope and pray that they have a peaceful, content and hopeful holiday season, no matter your religion or tradition. I sincerely hope and pray that whomever your addict and loved one is, that they find the way to a more peaceful and reasonable way of living. And when hope and faith feel in short supply, I hope and pray that you find that little extra at the bottom to carry you through. Sometimes the tough times seem unendurable but then a tiny spark of light can shine through all that darkness and keep you going. I hope and pray that you find the strength, wisdom and support to focus and realize that YOU deserve a life and to laugh once in a while.
Anyway, I just wanted to take this time to let you know that y’all are in my thoughts and prayers. It’s just not good enough for me to think it, I needed to let you know.

Marteen.. LOL I guess I am one of the old members.. Thank you for your very kind blessings. It really meant a lot to me more than I can say. I understand what you mean about not posting.. I dont do it as much as I would like.
You are an inspiration for me and I think of you often and miss you as well.

It's always good to hear from you. It's great to hear that you've found peace and contentment... and other things to occupy your mind besides the As in your life! That is a real message of hope to many of the newcomers here.

It was really nice to hear from you. I do much of the same thing as you. It's interesting, the longer that I am in recovery the more I find that I have less to say. Go figure. Hope that you and yours have a wonderful holiday!
