AS comes home tomorrow

Well as I get into the car with my oldest son, he informs me that my as is able to come home from rehab tomorrow. I specifically told him (as) to look for a half way house, for his sake more than mine. I haven't spoken to him so I guess I"ll find out tomorrow why he's coming home instead of the halfway house.

I will be fine I will be fine I will be fine

If your home is not an option, maybe he will choose a halfway house. Just a thought. And welcome back from vacation. Sounds like it was a good one. Hugs, Marle

I will try to stay as far away from his recovery as I can.(support yes drill no) so the only thing I plan on saying tomorrow is what did they say about you going to a halfway house. whatever the answer is I'll live with, I think he needs it just to learn responsiblity. and yes I was in punta cana (just got back at 5pm today) it was very relaxing. thanks for asking.

I let my oldest come home for one month, but insisted he get to a halfway house. He's been there about 6 weeks. It's not an easy place to live in, but he's beginning to see that mom can't take care of him any more.
I hope your son does well and things work out for him.

Sending prayers for support and strength to you.
If you told him he's not to come home and needs to get
into a halfway house, he should respect your wishes and
look into it. One of my sister's sons just spent 6 months in
a rehab and was released last week. Thank God he had a place
to go, (gf and new baby) because I know my sister would have
opened her door to him immediately and that would have been
a very bad idea, on her part. She was his number 1 enabler.
I hope things work out the they are intended to.
Hugs and prayers,

Welcome back - glad you had a good vacation.

I think you WILL be fine tomorrow. You've been working really hard at taking care of YOU, and I think he is in for a surprise. Remember your boundaries and that you have the right to be at peace in your own home.

Hugs and prayers!!!

Amy
