One more time
Evening all,
Oldest son goes to court tomorrow.
It's for drug trafficking, by telephone, which he swears is not true....
I seldom believe a word he says, except this time, he really seems to be going towards the right direction...he's "semi" sober...no cocaine, but occasional marijuana, and alcohol....(not MY idea of sober)
I'm sure his H.P. will lead him right where he wants him, even if it's prison again.

i am sorry for you & him. i will say a prayer for him & you. you are right,his H.P. will put him where he needs to be. just maybe he will get another chance & he will take it. let us know how this turns out. hugs, hope

I'm sending prayers out Moose, that however this goes, he is safe and finds a better road.
I think he is trying. I know that with addiction trying may not be good enough but this Canadian mama thinks trying is a good indication that he wants to live better.

Someone told me once to imagine our life like paddling a canoe down a large, winding river. We hear the wind and the noise of the water and cannot really see what is around the next bend. Our God, though is like the hawk flying high above. He can see what is around the next turn and which tools we will need. Our experiences bring us those tools.

Okay....I'm going shopping!
I'm dropping Mr. Moose off at a friends of his...(he can't drive for 3 months)
and I'm hitting a mall I haven't been to, for years,
then having lunch with a long lost cousin at a tea house.....
Should be a fun day!
(My goal is to buy 2 Xmas presents today)

I'm back!
I bought ONE Xmas gift.....
And for me:
2 books
"Seacret Nail collection" (Sea salt and stuff from the Dead Sea)
and my magazine for the week....
Son called, but I wasn't home...
Tried to return the call, but no answer....

I love your style lady, almost as much as I love your recovery.
Worrying would not have changed the outcome and this way you had the fabulous day you deserve.

my youngest is in jail for the 3rd time. I know how heartbreaking this can be.
Thing will work out exactly as they are supposed to in the right time.
