What is the name of support groups that I can go to for family and friends of substance abusers? I went under the NarAnon wen site and it was for addicts only. I thnk! Where can I find a group to go to for families and what is it called? Not NarAnaon right????

Naranon is for families, friends or anybody involved with an addict.
Narcotics Anonymous is for addicts and is often called NA. Some NA meetings are listed as 'open' which means that a person can visit even if they are not an addict.

If there are no Nar-Anon meetings in your area, try Al-Anon. I hope you can find a meeting near you. Nar-Anon has helped me in the last 2+ years I have been going.
