Anyone remember my ruby recovery ring?

It was a birthday present I bought for myself a few years ago.
I hadn't bought myself anything at all for so long.
And the ruby is my birth stone. It has six small diamond chips surrounding it.
Ann dubbed it my Ruby Recovery Ring.

Well, yesterday, my tired went flat. I had to go to get it fixed at a major chain. While there, I had to go to the ladies room.
It was an expensive pee...

See, I had to pass the jewelry counter. And there was a BIG sale! A BIGGGGGG sale.
So, I got myself some matching:

Ruby Recovery Earrings!

And

A Ruby Recovery Pendant! :day4

Ok, ok, I went overboard. I know.
And I deserve it anyway.
After the theif tenant left my house last november, all I've done is try to catch up, and do work on the house. I've had no vacation. I've dealt with family stress with my mom, my siblings and yes, even my recovering son. And my boss is continuing to act the arse he is.

Besides all the rationalizations for the jewels, they are just plain ole BEAUTIFUL!
And I love them....
Thanks for listening to me share my good news.... :>)

L'Chaim!

Good for YOU!!!!!

I had to play catch up this year too paying off debt Steve incurred that was in my name (cuz gosh knows, addict need money and have no credit and me the cody was right there.. Duhhhh). I am taking this week off to redecorate the inside of my house. I don't want it to be the house Steve and I had anymore. He will be gone a year this Saturday and I want this place to be MINE not a vestage of "ours."

I should be nearly done tomorrow and I have to say.. paint, wallpaper border and a NEW BED for ME has been VERY VERY expensive!!! Now the Guest room has a bed.. and that room was "his..." and I am making it yellow flowery.. Wait till I get the scented candle and the Pot Pourri stuff going... LOL.

I have "recovery" wallpaper border and paint and bed and bedspread and I am tired and broke as heck but I FEEL GOOD.

Getting recovery earrings and pendent is awesome fun. Good for you Teach!!! And some things are WORTH being broke from!!!! YOU DESERVE IT!! Woo Hoo!!!

Oh I LOVE it!!!! For a moment I was holding my breath, thinking perhaps you had lost the ring. But now I'm doing the happy dance, because we are dripping with the "Recovery Crown Jewels" :day4

You soooooooooooooooooo deserve these earrings and pendant to go with the Ruby Recovery Ring.

Now wear them proudly like the Queen you are.

Hugs

Thank you, thank you, thank you....

Yea, that really *would* have been an expensive pee, if I'd have flushed the ring down, huh? LOL!

Krhea, get something for you. I can promise you, you are worth it and it will indeed make you feel like it. We don't give ourselves enough credit ya know, and we sure don't give ourselves enough presents. So, do it for you. Cuz, who's better than you today?

Marle, I'm not good at posting pics, but, if I get a good pic, I'll send it to a friend, who's a budding photographer. She's offered to help before.

Elana, the room sounds wonderful! I know I've had a ball redoing my house over the years, making it *mine.* LOL!
Good for you!

Thanks, Hope! Ann!
Some queen, LOL! :>)

I know I'm a lucky woman, even when I struggle with many things.
I have to remember all the beauty in life.
My ruby recovery jewels remind me of that.
And of the bounty I do have, thanks to G*D.
Yes, I am grateful...

Shalom!

Count me in on the "oops she flushed it" gang.

I remember when you bought the recovery ring. I was so happy for you! This sounds like another time to celebrate all that is GOOD, and all that is YOU.

We made "recovery bracelets" at Moose Island. Each with charms to remind of us of where we were and where we're headed. It's good to have things like that to remind and inspire....

Now all you need is the ruby slippers and you're on your way!

Teach,
I also thought you LOST the ring when you flushed. Glad to see that you treated yourself to some more things. You deserve it, it has been awhile since you bought the ring, I remember how thrilled you were. You are giving me some ideas of what I want to do and soon.
Hugs
