I hope you decide to stay. This place is a family, and just like in other families there are disagreements and hurt feelings once in a while. That is no reason to go away for good. You have a lot to offer and it would be a shame for you to leave.

I understand where you are coming from, but remember these women may not know where you stand, but they definitely know women better than you and I.
Their approach may be different, but think about how our approach may help them as well.

To all:
I received several kind messages suggesting I come read the responses. I hadn't intended to do that, but I was compelled by the notes I received.
First, I would like to say how much I really do appreciate the sentiments posted. I was actually quite surprised by the number and the kind thoughts expressed.
The purpose of this original post was really just to let the people know (mainly those who had PM'd me after that message fiasco) that I was going to move on due to the backlash. I wasn't bitter or upset or anything like that. I just know myself and am quite sure I would always be second-guessing every post and every word that I put out there. I don't think that benefits anyone since it wouldn't be the real me (warts and all) coming through. Basically it confirmed for me that in-person interaction is what I'm best suited for.
And I harbor no ill-will and hope that was evident in my post. You are all good people and I am grateful for the interactions I've had with you. I plan to continue my journey in recovery, just in a face to face environment where I think I can be most comfortable.
Thanks again to all of you.
