Susan - it sounds like Kasey is ready and willing to try recovery. And yes, the Kasey-b4-drugs is still there. Not only an I back to the "old" me (b4 drugs), but I am better because recovery has taught me better ways at handling life. I think Kasey will see this, too.

I hope you are a little more at peace now, knowing she is safe and will be with people where they can all support each other. I wish her luck in getting a job. That was a HUGE self-confidence booster to me because I was so down on myself I didn't think anyone would want to hire me.

I think, from her words and actions, that she has a really good chance for this to be her time.
