I Saw A Moose, I Swear I Did

Ladies and Gentlemen

I do believe the Moose has returned. I saw her name and can only hope she'll make it all the way into the building. Mr. Moose was driving, so he may have stopped for a snack.

WELCOME HOME MOOSELIPS!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
Happy, (kind of) to be home. (Well happy to have computer access, anyway.) HA! Missed you all so much. Makes me teary eyed to even think of it.

(I made him drive really fast...so I could be here tonight.....NOT.)

Okay, so catch me up, how have you all been?
Everybody shining in their recovery?
(I bet you all are!)

I've had some brief flashes of relapse, but starting back to step one, got myself back up and shook it off.

Okay, fill me in, how's everyone doing?
Any lightbulb moments happen this Summer?

hugs to all....

Welcome Home Moose (and Mr. Moose)!!!!

CatsPajamas 09-25-2007 05:59 PM

Welcome home Moosie!!

Good gosh we missed you. How was the rest of your summer? Did your son and gf make it up to visit you? Any fun visitors in skimpy bathing suits? What about moose and squirrel? (I sound like an old Rocky and Bullwinkle routine...) Bears?

I'm just so glad you're back.

BIG hugs
Cats

I'm so sad you gals missed this, but Patty showed up the following weekend. (fully dressed, still looking for Frank...)

We Do have to figure a way to coordinate our schedules with hers. I do know for a fact she comes the long weekend of August.

By the way, here's an exciting note, which has a tad to do with our recovery...I found out there's a day spa nearby........

Son and GF made it up, they had a wonderful time, and by golly, the gal passed the "Camp Test" she didn't even scream once...(although the bear showed up AFTER they left...)

She obviously did not see "the snake".

I'm sorry we missed the bear but I did see a couple on my way out of there. I'd rather see them from my car than from my lawn chair. :Wburn

It's sure good to have you home.

Hugs

Well, great, just great. You save the excitement for AFTER we leave...ole Patty AND a bear??? And you know what? You can keep the bear, but I swear, ole Patty is good for a laugh. WE MUST coordinate our visits for when she is there.:c008:

Now, about my shining recovery? Well, let's just put it this way. I try to work my program everyday but, as I shared with a friends who is in AA, "I'm sure glad WE don't give out chips at our meetings." There are just some weeks I'd be depleting the supply, ya know?

I'm so glad you're back. We've missed you and your mooseisms. There are so many new folks around, so it's good to have an oldtimer back on the boards. (And I mean that in the nicest way...:val004:).

So, ladies and gentlemen......

MOOSE IS IN THE BUILDING!!!!

:bbj:

Glad the meese made it home in one piece! "Someone" shared some pictures of a Secret Synchronized Swimming Session... (The 4S Club). It looked - devilishly complicated.

:)

I guess this heralds the TRUE start of autumn... when the moosie comes home.

((hugs))

"Moose is in the building"

Makes me kind of sound like an Elvis-ette, get it?

Hangin' In 09-25-2007 07:59 PM

Of course, I get it! You act like I'm slow or something....

Hey, I think the smilies are back. And I think I tried to use one back up there, but I got a val004 instead. Just know that a val004 is really cute and meant I'm glad you're back, Moose, ole buddy, ole pal!

Hey, did you shake hands with Patty? No wait. You can still type, so I guess you just waved at her. :lmao

mooselips 09-25-2007 08:02 PM

Absolutely, Positively did NOT shake Patty's hand, No Sir, No way!
I was quite upset, she didn't seem to invite me to her BIG GAME cookout!
What's with that?

Although I bet I'd look pretty smart in one of those day glow orange casts, donchathink?

greeteachday 09-25-2007 08:07 PM

Geez...Sorry it took awhile, but getting all the SR folks together and all facing in the same direction was tough!

What do you mean "get-up"? A little facial hair that maybe needs attention, perhaps, but no "get-up" :lmao

Jewelz 09-26-2007 05:42 AM

rozied 09-26-2007 05:51 AM
