update on waiting
 

Still waiting but not for long now. She went into labor left about 3 hrs ago for the hospital. Haven't heard anything yet...wish they would call. Please keep her an the baby in your prayers..

Ok she's here Avagail Grace 5lbs 12 ozs an thanks to all your prayers seems to be perfectly healthy! Didn't know how to put a pic in this message so that's her on the side .

12 hours later she posts. lol Had me worried there.

The baby looks good, almost can smell her sweet new-baby smell.

Hey give me a break she just had it 2 hrs ago. LOL An I even managed to get there 20 mins before she came. I was so relived to see how healthy she looked. She's tiny they still hadn't measured her yet so I don't know how long she is.

She's only about 25 minutes old in the picture.

Babies are such miracles, I know before I had my first daughter I was sort of a spoiled brat, when held her in my arms the first time all of the selfishness I had faded and all the dreams I had for MYSELF were replaced with such dreams and hopes for her.

Well seems the hospital thinks she was 4 wks early instead of 3, so they are releasing my AD today but keeping the baby for 3 or 4 days. They baby looks an acts fine but Dr said since she was early they wanted to keep an eye on her just to make sure she doesn't turn yellow or have any problems. Now I'm wondering if that's normal or did they find something an just aren't telling? It really has me worried.

Hi biliruben numbers are not unusual... keeping her is far better than having her go home - the staff can better determine if the "light therapy" is required.

And she is a pretty good weight for being a month early!

Good thoughts - no awfulizing!!! That baby is precious, wonderful and entirely ready to receive love!
