I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. Lately I have been sick, and I can't tell if it is just another head cold, as I get those often, or if it is heart probs. I've been coughing a lot, headaches and all, but then on top of it my throat and chest feel tight at times, almost to the point of hurting. Since those are symptoms of many things, including heart failure, I figure I better get on in there before it gets worse, since this morning there was a little blood in my coughs.

I just got over a terrible bout with acute bronchitis, although I'm still convinced it was walking pnuemonia. They took no xrays, and I've had bronchitis before...this was different.
I too was short of breath, exhausted (I couldn't make it up a flight of steps) and coughing (not constant, but violently)
I believe it was viral, because antibiotics didn't touch it.
I'm finally feeling better, but it held on for a month.
Hope all turns out OK
